This week is Victims of Crime Awareness Week in Canada.

There is no doubt that the Liberal-initiated long-gun registry has been a boondoggle.

All the Christian Traditions (Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant and Anabaptist) of our region have just finished remembering the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

It can be difficult to put into perspective both spending and debt when it comes to government.

In the past when Manitobans thought about violence, there might have been a tendency to think it was limited to only certain parts of the province’s largest city.

Earlier this week, I announced that as part of our Conservative Government’s Economic Action Plan, we are increasing funding to federal public service student employment programs to help Canadian students across the country acquire skills and work experience.

It was a Sunday afternoon at the end of October, 2008, my wife and I were sitting in our living room watching Bill Moyer’s Journal on Prairie Public Television.

This past Thursday something remarkable happened in the Saskatchewan legislature. Every political party, including the NDP members of the legislature, voted in favour of a resolution in support of the development of nuclear power to help meet that province’s energy needs.

Canadians will be seeing more money in their pockets, thanks to our Conservative Government’s Economic Action Plan.
