Southland Church

Southland Church is a growing church committed to spiritual growth through passionate, Bible-based teaching, meaningful worship, and an emphasis on prayer. Everything we do centres around our core values which define the heartbeat of our church. These include things like prayer and listening to God, spiritual and emotional wholeness, and marriage and family.

Community life is important to us here at Southland and cells - small groups that meet weekly in homes - are an integral part of our church. We believe that the accountability and support shared within small groups is vital to walking out the Christian faith and we encourage all people to get plugged into a cell.

At Southland, we are passionate about making Jesus Christ the functional Lord of our church, seeking His leadership in all of these areas.

What to Expect

You can expect a warm and friendly atmosphere at Southland. We are a large and growing church committed to helping individuals and families find a place to connect and grow within the church community. When you come through the doors you will find greeters and ushers available to help you find your way and direct you to a seat. If you have any questions, feel free to go to the Information Desk in the main lobby.

We currently have two service times on Sundays at 9am and 11:15am. Both services are identical.

What are the Services like?

During the service you can expect to be led in a time of God-focused worship with a contemporary flair through various songs, prayer and passionate leadership. Worship is followed by a thought-provoking, Scripture-based message taught by one of our pastors. We currently translate messages into Korean, Low German, High German, Spanish and Russian as well as offer a sign language service.

We have a great children's ministry for kids 0 to grade 4. Here you can expect your kids to enjoy learning about God through fun and lively teaching, singing and activities. Our check-in and paging systems provide peace of mind for parents while they attend the adult services. If you are new to Southland, come by a bit early and register your child at the Kidzland Information Desk.

Supercell is our grade 5 and 6 program. Here students experience lively worship, teaching and small group interaction. If you're new to Southland, come a bit early and we'll ensure that your child connects into a small group that is perfect for them.
