The internationally acclaimed Sgt. Wilson’s Army Show is coming to Steinbach on Thursday, November 24, 2016 and is guaranteed to transport you back in time with the swinging sounds of the 40-50’s.
The Dutch based live entertainment production is undertaking a Canada-wide tour. As a result of the the hard work of the Royal Canadian Legion in Steinbach, Southeast Manitoba will have an opportunity to take in this nostalgic evening.
The Sgt. Wilson’s Army Show performs songs from the Andrews Sisters, Glenn Miller, Vera Lynn and more in a variety show format. The impeccable reproduction of the sound from the big band era will sure to please all ages.
Steinbach Legion President Bill Richards notes that the entire executive is excited in hosting this event in Steinbach and that they are working hard to create a memorable evening for all.
Doors open at the Steinbach Legion hall at 6:15pm where a wine and cheese pre-show meet and greet will take place followed by the performance starting at 7pm. Following the show, you can meet and chat with the performers and enjoy a social hour where free coffee, tea and a variety of desserts will be available.
