The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Canadian Blood Services to help ensure lifesaving blood products are available to hospital patients in need. As part of their dedication to their community, the Steinbach Chamber has generously adopted the October 17 blood donor clinic and committed to recruit new donors and fill appointments to help collect 96 units at the clinic.

“We are pleased and proud to have the opportunity to help give life in this way,” says Linda Peters, Executive Director, Steinbach Chamber of Commerce. “We are very excited about making a real difference in the lives of Canadian hospital patients. This year, 100,000 new blood donors are needed across Canada to meet patient needs – including 600 needed right here in our community. We invite Steinbach residents to join us and make an appointment to donate blood.”

You can help ensure patients continue to get the blood they need by making an appointment to give life at the Steinbach Community blood donor clinic, at Steinbach Evangelical Mennonite Church, 422 Main Street on Monday, October 17, 2016 from 2-7pm. By adopting a clinic, organizations can make a difference in the lives of hospital patients. Choose a clinic date and recruit donors from within your organization, your networks, customers and community, and help give life to those in need. Canadian Blood Services will work with interested organizations to plan and support their involvement.
