A 37-year-old Pine Falls man will be facing impaired driving charges after recently being being arrested by Steinbach RCMP.

On December 4, 2016 at approximately 10pm, officers were out patrolling on Park Avenue, near Clearspring Centre, when they observed a vehicle traveling on the same street, driving over a curb and then continuing to the parking lot of Clearspring Centre. As a result of the driving behaviour, police initiated a traffic stop.

Police say that the driver was found to be impaired and was escorted to the local detachment where he provided breath samples that were over the legal limit.

RCMP report that the driver of the vehicle, a 37-year-old Pine Falls man, was charged with impaired driving and driving over 80mgs of alcohol. He will be appearing in Steinbach Court in January, 2017.
