RCMP investigate robbery with a firearm
On January 12, 2012, at approximately 9:15pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP received a report of a robbery at Arrowhead Gaming Center in Long Plain FN, Manitoba.
Portage Police Dog Service, Portage la Prairie Traffic Services and Treherne RCMP attended with Portage la Prairie RCMP to assist with the investigation.
Investigation revealed that two males entered the Gaming Center, one of which was brandishing a firearm. The suspects then demanded that the staff members give them the money from the cash register. Once obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspects fled the building. No injuries were reported.
The suspects are described as male and approximately 6′ tall. Both were wearing dark clothing, a black balaclava and gloves.
Police have not been able to locate the suspects and Portage la Prairie RCMP continue to investigate.
