Fatal snowmobile collision in Thicket Portage

On January 15, 2012, just before 4am, Thompson RCMP were dispatched to the scene of a fatal snowmobile collision in Thicket Portage, Manitoba.

Investigation indicates that a 21-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were operating a snowmobile when they lost control and were ejected.

The female passenger was treated for non life threatening injuries. The male driver was transported to the local nursing station where he was pronounced deceased. His name will not be released.
