House destroyed in blaze
On January 16, 2012, shortly before 9am, Carman RCMP Detachment along with the RM of Grey Fire Department and area EMS were alerted by a passerby of a house fire on Church Avenue in the Community of Elm Creek.
RCMP report that the house was been destroyed by the fire. Estimates of damages are not available but the house is considered a total loss.
Police say that the cause of the fire remains under investigation, however, the fire is not deemed suspicious.
The investigation continues in collaboration with the Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner.
