On June 30, 2012, just after 3pm, Lac du Bonnet RCMP were dispatched to a report of a body located in the Winnipeg River at Otter Falls.
Investigation at the scene indicates that the body of a 78-year-old man from the RM of Springfield had been located in the water by boaters at the location. Police say that his name will not be released and an autopsy has been scheduled.
Police continue to investigate.
