On July 21, 2012, at about 3pm, Gimli RCMP and local emergency services were dispatched to a report of an explosion on a boat at the Gimli Harbor.
Initial police investigation indicates a boat had taken on fuel and when it was started, an explosion occurred.
RCMP report that an adult male and female were transported to hospital with undetermined injuries.
Police continue to investigate.
