Steinbach RCMP investigate assault

On August 16, 2012, at around 3pm, Steinbach RCMP received a report of an assault that occurred at a business in the north-end of Steinbach, Manitoba.

RCMP report that an adult male allegedly struck another adult male in the upper body before leaving the area. The suspect was known to police and had a history of past violence which resulted in a multi-vehicle response by police. The suspect was located at a nearby business and was arrested without incident.

Police say that there were no serious injuries as a result of this incident and the matter is still under investigation.
