Altona RCMP investigate multiple mischief incidents

Altona RCMP are investigating several incidents of mischief that occurred overnight between 10pm, August 15 and 8am, August 16, 2012, in the Town of Gretna.

Graffiti by culprit(s) shows vulgar language, references to religious icons and swastikas.

Several locales were spray painted including the local arena, a church, a community centre, a school, a vehicle, storage shed(s), light fixtures, light posts and stop signs.

Police say that the graffiti consists of vulgar language, references to religious icons, swastikas among others. The culprit(s) used mostly black, red and some green spray paint.

Some of the paint may have “back sprayed” meaning the culprit(s) may have gotten some paint on their clothes, hands and footwear.

The RCMP are asking anyone with information in these incidents to please call 204-324 6970.
