Fatal vehicle rollover near The Pas
On August 25, 2012, at about 9:15pm, The Pas RCMP and area EMS responded to a 911 call reporting a fatal single vehicle rollover on Highway 60, 2.5 kilometres east of Highway 10.
Upon arrival at the scene, RCMP and EMS found the driver of the vehicle deceased.
Police say that the driver, for reasons that remain undetermined, lost control of the vehicle, rolled and was ejected from the vehicle.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle has been identified as a 25-year-old woman from Shoal River.
RCMP, with the assistance of an RCMP Traffic Analyst, continue to investigate as to what lead to the collision. Police say that the driver was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the collision.
