RCMP respond to collision on Roblin Blvd
On October 6, 2012, shortly after 3am, Headingley Rural RCMP Detachment and EMS were dispatched to a two vehicle collision on Roblin Boulevard near the Breezy Bend Golf Course.
Police say that the lone drivers of the vehicles, two 22-year-old females from Winnipeg, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Early indications are that the driver of a Honda Civic wandered into the wrong lane and collided with the oncoming vehicle.
RCMP are investigating with assistance by an RCMP Traffic Reconstructionist. Alcohol is considered a factor in the collision.
