Steinbach notice of curbside collection levy amendment
The City of Steinbach is officially giving notice regarding curbside garbage collection services. Though not a new levy, the annual fee levy is being amended in order to provide continued funding for the curbside collection and disposal of solid waste for residential properties located within the City of Steinbach.
If residents already receive this curbside solid waste collection service, this levy was present on their 2012 property tax statement and referenced as “Solid Waste Disposal”.
Public hearings will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, 7:35p.m. at Steinbach City Hall, Council Chambers, 225 Reimer Avenue. Council will hear any person who wishes to make a presentation, ask questions, or register an objection.
