RCMP execute drug search warrant in Thompson
On November 15, 2012, at about 11:15am, Thompson RCMP executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) in the Burntwood area of Thompson, Manitoba.
RCMP report that during the course of the investigation, police seized four pounds of marijuana, about two ounces of cocaine and approximately $2,000 cash.
53-year-old Patrick Samuel Jackson of Thompson, has been charged with possession of marijuana and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking as well as possession of proceeds of crime. Jackson was remanded into custody to appear in Thompson Provincial Court.
Police say that the estimated street value of all the drugs seized is $18,000 in Thompson.
