Steinbach RCMP looking for suspect vehicle
Steinbach RCMP are asking the public to be on the lookout for a red 1996 single cab, Chevrolet 1500 pick-up truck, a vehicle believed to be connected to a recent armed robbery.
RCMP report that the truck bears Manitoba Licence Plate number EAF 936 and is described as possessing a large amount of rust over the wheel wells in addition to not having a tail gate.
RCMP believe that this truck was used in a recent armed robbery with a firearm on January 3rd, 2013. Police believe that the suspects may have abandoned the truck, however, the possibility still exists that the suspects may still be driving this vehicle.
Police are advising the public to not approach this vehicle as the suspects are armed and dangerous. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of this vehicle, they are requested to call the Steinbach RCMP at 204-326-1234 or Crime Stoppers at 204-780 TIPS(8477).
