Steinbach RCMP respond to vehicle fire
Earlier this month, on January 16, Steinbach RCMP responded to a burning truck on road 40 N in the RM of Hanover.
Investigation shows that the truck was previously stolen from a break and enter in East St. Paul on December 21, 2012. RCMP report that a second Grey 2010 Chevrolet Silverado truck was subsequently stolen from a nearby rural shed.
Police investigation has revealed that the suspect(s) responsible for these thefts have been very active in the RM of Hanover and RM of Ste Anne. Police are requesting residents be on the lookout for suspicious activity in the rural area.
