On September 29, 2014, at approximately 3:30pm, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a possible impaired driver in Steinbach.
Police located and stopped the vehicle a short time later and an adult male was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. Breath samples obtained from the male were .28 (280mg%) and .26 (260mg%), which is more than three times the legal limit. Police also determined the driver did not have a valid licence or registration.
RCMP report that the driver was released from custody with a Promise to Appear for Court in Steinbach.
