On January 26, 2015, at about 6am, Headingley RCMP and local emergency services responded to a two-vehicle collision on Provincial Road 334 in the RM of Headingley, Manitoba.

Polic investigation revealed that a car, driven by a 62-year-old woman, collided head-on with another car driven by a 26-year-old woman. Both drivers were from Winnipeg and both were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

RCMP report that alcohol was not a factor in this incident and that both drivers were wearing their seatbelts. Road conditions were icy at the time and appear to be a factor in the collision.

RCMP would like to remind the public when driving in winter that the posted speed limit is for ideal road conditions. If you must travel during bad or inclement weather, slow down and drive with caution.
