Professional race car driver and Niverville native, David Richert, has signed a contract to race with Inter Europol Competition in the 2015 Northern European Cup (NEC) Championship. Richert last competed with Inter Europol during the 2014 season but was only able to do select events in the high level NEC championship due to budget constraints.

Richert will contest race events in the Renault 2.0 race car throughout Europe including at many prestigious circuits such as Monza (Italy), Silverstone (UK), Red Bull Ring (Austria), Spa (Belgium), Assen (Holland), Nurburgring (Germany), and Hockenheim (Germany).

It’s an enormous privilege to have the opportunity to chase your dream. It has been extremely challenging work but I am beyond amazed and humbled with how the business side of this has come together over the last few weeks. Now we have the difficult task of competing on track against some of the best young drivers in the world, but I’m really looking forward to that challenge. ~ David Richert

After a short trip to Holland and then Germany for official preseason testing, Richert will be off to Milan, Italy, for the first race event of the season at Monza (April 10-12).

Richert Racing would like to introduce Princess Auto as a brand new corporate partner for the 2015 race season. Princess Auto Ltd is a fast growing Canadian retailer that started as an auto parts shop on Princess Street in Winnipeg in 1933. Today, they have more than 2,000 Team Members in 37 stores from coast to coast. They cater to backyard mechanics, trained professionals, farmers, light industry and every kind of serious do-it-yourselfer.

Richert Racing would like to welcome back Silver Jeans Co as a corporate partner as well. Silver Jeans Co. is an extension of Western Glove Works, a family-owned business that has produced quality denim products since 1921. Over the past two decades, Silver Jeans Co. has become known as the must-have brand for those who demand a perfect fit from their jeans. Today, the brand has grown to a $100 million dollar denim giant sold in over 30 countries across North America, Europe, Asia, South America, and Australia.

Richert Racing expects to announce additional corporate partners in the weeks to come as well as more details on the involvement of Princess Auto and Silver Jeans Co. However, we would also like to take this time to thank some of our returning supporting partners including Rainbow Trailers, MK Global Trade, ClarkHuot, and Sunrize Group.
