This past Tuesday, Steinbach MLA, Kelvin Goertzen, offered a gift and his thanks to former New Bothwell Fire Chief, Ken Hiebert, who recently stepped down as New Bothwell Fire Chief. Hiebert served as Fire Chief for the past 22 years.

Goertzen announced that on Friday May 29, from 6:30pm-8:30pm, there will be an open house at the New Bothwell Fire Station to thanks to the former Fire Chief. Goertzen noted that Hiebert’s service to the community and region is remarkable and though the leadership of Hiebert the New Bothwell Fire Department experienced many changes and improvements.
