Three men are facing theft charges after being arrested by Steinbach RCMP earlier this week.
On May 3, 2016, at approximately 12:54am, Steinbach RCMP were advised that there was a group of people going through vehicles in La Broquerie on Rue Des Pignons. RCMP attended and the subsequent investigation brought members to a residence on Gauthier Street in La Broquerie.
Police say that three adult males were arrested and taken into custody for theft from a motor vehicle. All three males were released later that day on a Promise to Appear.
RCMP report that two female youth were also involved, however, after cooperating with RCMP, were released without charge and will proceed through extra-judicial means under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
