It’s a first-time event for Steinbach – an event focused on employment for immigrants and newcomers to the community.

Being hosted by Eastman Immigrant Services and the Steinbach Chamber of Commerce, this new event will bring together those seeking employment face-to-face with employers that are currently hiring.

The event will take place Wednesday February 24th at Steinbach 55 Plus beginning at 6:30 PM. The evening will include a business information session featuring an employer speaker panel who will speak on important employment-related topics. This will be followed by a minitrade fair where job-seeker attendees will have the opportunity to visit various employer exhibitor booths. This will allow job-seekers a chance to converse with employers, drop off resumes, and apply for various employment openings.

This event is open to the public and all are welcome to attend. Admission for attendees is free.

Any interested employers who are currently hiring or will be hiring in the next few months are welcome to register. To register as an Employer Exhibitor call the Chamber Office at 326-9566. Those employers interested should register immediately.
