Charges laid in Selkirk break and enter

On February 7, 2010, at 9:31pm, Selkirk RCMP responded to a break and enter in progress call in the City of Selkirk.

When police arrived, they found that a residence had been broken into and there were fresh footprints in the snow left behind by the suspect. Police followed the footprints to another residence in Selkirk where they recovered a small about of jewelry and arrested a 24-year-old male.

Byron Wayne Frost was charged with break, enter and theft, possession of stolen property and breach of probation.

Frost was remanded to the Winnipeg Remand Center and will appear in court on February 9, 2010.
