Steinbach RCMP arrest man for possession of a handgun
On February 10, 2010, Steinbach RCMP arrested a man for possession of a handgun on Brandt Street in Steinbach, Manitoba.
A search warrant was executed on a residence on Cedar Avenue in Steinbach, resulting in the seizure of a replica handgun.
The RCMP Emergency Response Team, the RCMP Police Dog Service and the RCMP Crisis Negotiation Team assisted the Steinbach Detachment in the arrest and execution of the warrant.
The investigation is continuing and no additional information is available at this time.
