Police looking for drug thieves

On March 12, 2010, Brandon and Souris RCMP were called to a break, enter and theft that occurred at the Souris Medical Center and Whitfield Drug Store in Souris Manitoba.

Police investigation revealed that at approximately 3am, two subjects had attempted to break into the Souris Medical Center by prying the front door to the business and were unsuccessful. The subjects then used a park bench to the side of the building where they were successful in breaking through a window leading into the Medical Center. Once inside the Medical Center, they gained entry into the pharmacy via an adjoining door that leads from the Medical Center to the Pharmacy. Once inside the pharmacy the two subjects were captured on surveillance video going to the shelves behind the pharmacist’s counter where they began filling, what police believe to be a gym bag, with drugs from the shelves.

The 1st subject is described as being male, taller and thin. He was wearing a black hoodie. The 2nd male is believed to be native, bigger in size and has a shaved head. He was wearing a large winter coat that was black in colour.

The subjects made off with a large quantity of T3′s, T2′s, and various other drugs.

At this time Police have no suspects and are asking that if anyone has any information as to who these subjects are they are asked to contact the Souris RCMP at 204-483-2854 or Manitoba Crime Stoppers.
