Break and enter at the Midtown Motor Inn

On March 18, 2010, at approximately 4am, Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to an alarm at Midtown Motor Inn in Portage la Prairie.

Investigation revealed that an exterior door had been forced open and merchandise of an undisclosed value was taken. A 19-year-old male, from the RM of Portage la Prairie, was located a short time later around the area.

The suspect has been arrested with charges pending.

No damage estimate is available and police continue to investigate.
