Break and enter to Sarto General Store

On May 6, 2010 at about 9:40pm, Steinbach RCMP were informed that four people broke into a back shed of the Sarto General Store.

The complainant advised that he pursued the culprits and was currently restraining them for police.

Just prior to police arriving at the scene the suspects assaulted the complainant and fled from the scene.

RCMP searched the area and have arrested two of the four suspects in relation to the offence. In addition, items from the break in were recovered while in possession of one of the suspects.

The investigation continues and more arrests are expected.
