More arrests made in McKay murder case

Two more arrests have been made in connection with the murder of Sheldon Anthony McKay, which occurred in the Stony Mountain Institution more than four years ago.

37-year-old Raymond Joseph Armstrong and 29-year-old Adrian Claude Young have been arrested and both are charged with first degree murder, as well as conspiracy to commit murder.

Armstrong was arrested on April 27, 2010 and Young was arrested on April 29, 2010. Both men were in custody at Stony Mountain Institution at the time of their arrest.

Both accused had been in Stony Mountain Institution with Sheldon McKay at the time of his murder and are reported to have had gang affiliation.

Police continue to investigate this homicide and more arrests are anticipated.
