Fifth arrest made in McKay murder case

A fifth arrest has been made in conjunction with the murder of Sheldon Anthony McKay which occurred at the Stony Mountain Institution four years ago on May 2, 2006. 

33-year-old William Adam Ross was arrested on May 12, 2010. Ross has been charged with first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

Ross was convicted in 1998 and is currently in custody serving life in prison with no eligibility for parole for 15 years on a charge of second degree murder. McKay and Ross were housed on the same range at the time of McKay’s murder. 

The investigation continues.
