Youth charged with drug and firearm offences

On June 15, 2010, Thompson RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in the Westwood area of Thompson.

RCMP report a small quantity of cocaine, marijuana, packaging materials, cash and a sawed-off shotgun were seized.  
 
A 16-year-old youth from Thompson, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and several firearms-related offences.

The youth was remanded into custody to appear in court on June 17, 2010.
