House fire under investigation

At 4:32am, on July 14, 2010, Thompson RCMP were dispatched to assist Thompson Fire and Emergency Services on a report of a house fire in the Southwood area of Thompson.

The fire was successfully put out by firefighters and no one was injured.

RCMP report damage to the residence is extensive, although an exact dollar value is not known.
 
RCMP are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire with the assistance of the Office of the Fire Commissioner and Thompson Fire and Emergency Services.
