Ecstacy seizure in Oakville

In the early evening hours of July 21, 2010, Portage la Prairie RCMP, in partnership with the “D” Division Integrated Gang Intelligence Unit, executed a CDSA (Controlled Drug and Substances Act) search warrant at a private residence in the town of Oakville, Manitoba.
 
Police gained entry into the residence without incident and seized 188 tablets believed to be ecstasy, as well as a small amount of marijuana.
 
Two adult males and one adult female were arrested at the location for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
 
The value of the seizure is estimated to be approximately $3500.00
 
Names of those arrested are being withheld pending the laying of formal charges.
 
Police continue to investigate.
