Teen stabbed at house party in Richer
On July 24, 2010, at approximately 4:15am, the Steinbach RCMP received a report that a male had been stabbed at house party in Richer, Manitoba.
When the members arrived at the residence, they determined that an 18-year-old male had been stabbed once in the upper body by a female. The male was transported to the Ste. Anne Hospital where he was treated and released later in the day.
The female suspected was located at a nearby residence and arrested without incident.
23-year-old Sherry-Lee Morgan of Richer has been charged with assault causing bodily harm and was released later in the day for a court date in August.
Alcohol is believed to have been a contributing factor in the incident.
The investigation is still continuing.
