Clayton Alexander Smith and Robert David Clayton

43-year-old Clayton Alexander Smith, also known as "Mad Dog" and his son, 21-year-old Robert David Clayton Smith are wanted by the RCMP.

Steinbach RCMP have charged three individuals in relation to a home invasion that occurred on August 1, 2010 in Steinbach.

26-year-old Dallas Lee Friesen of Steinbach, Manitoba has been arrested and charged with forcible entry, possession of a weapon and breaching court ordered conditions. Friesen was remanded into custody and is appearing in Winnipeg Provincial Court.
 
The vehicle used in the offence was located and seized.
 
The Steinbach RCMP are requesting the public’s help in relation to the other two suspects. Warrants of arrest have been issued for 43-year-old Clayton Alexander Smith, also known as “Mad Dog” and his son, 21-year-old Robert David Clayton Smith. Both subjects have lengthy criminal records and are considered dangerous.

On August 5, 2010, Clayton Alexander Smith AKA Mad Dog was arrested without incident at a residence in Winnipeg by the Winnipeg Police Service. Steinbach RCMP are continuing to search for 21-year-old Robert David Clayton Smith. Anyone having information pertaining to the whereabouts of Robert Smith are asked to contact either the Steinbach RCMP at 204-326-1234 or Crime Stoppers.

The second suspect, Clayton Smith, was arrested in Winnipeg on August 5, 2010 by the Winnipeg Police Service. He was remanded in custody and has been charged with Forcible Entry, Utter Threats and Mischief. The third suspect, Robert David Clayton Smith was also arrested in Winnipeg by the Winnipeg Police Service yesterday evening, August 5, 2010. He has been remanded in custody and has been charged with Forcible Entry.

The investigation continues.
