Charges laid in Roland drug bust
Marijuana seized in drug bust.
RCMP report that charges have been laid in connection to a drug seizure earlier this month in the RM of Roland.
Carman Area RCMP with assistance from the Winnipeg RCMP Drug Section executed a search warrant on the morning of August 1, 2010, at a local residence and found an indoor marijuana grow operation consisting of 24 Cannabis marijuana plants and related growing equipment.
55-year-old Wesley William Isaac and 24-year-old Darnel Scott Isaac, both from the RM of Roland, have been charged with producing a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Their first court appearance is set for the Morden Provincial Courthouse.
