Lorette is moving forward with upgrades to its community complex arena thanks to the Recreational Infrastructure Canada (RInC) program, a major job-creating investment from Canada’s Economic Action Plan.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible for numerous incidents in Lorette.

A red 2004 Chev Silverado was broken into Sunday evening December 13, 2009 on Pioneer Trail in Lorette, Manitoba.

On September 24, 2009, shortly after 6am, RCMP Oakbank Detachment were dispatched to a single motorcycle collision on Fermor Avenue near Murdock Road just east of Winnipeg.

This past week, St. Pierre RCMP received calls related to thefts and attempted thefts of motor vehicles in Lorette, Ile des Chenes and Ste. Agathe.

Three Lorette area youth were apprehended in the early morning hours on August 8, 2009, after a complaint of a house being egged was investigated.

Unknown suspect(s) entered two homes under construction on Convent Crescent in Lorette over the long weekend causing damage to the interior.

On March 10, 2009 at 8:05 a.m., RCMP St. Pierre Detachment were dispatched to a collision involving a school bus heading to Lorette and a passenger car at the junction of Highway 1 and Provincial Road 207.
