Justin Trudeau’s COVID-19 Re-set Opportunity

In recent days my office has been inundated with concerns over a variety of conspiracy theories going around online, related to COVID-19.

Such theories are, of course, rarely based in truth and, thus, should not be taken seriously.

Moreover, they tend to distract from the very real – and deeply concerning – actions of the Trudeau Liberals.

Over the weekend a story came out that sounds like a conspiracy theory but is, in reality, all too real.

Footage has been making the rounds of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau addressing a meeting at the UN in late September.

In his remarks, Mr. Trudeau said the following:

“This pandemic has provided an opportunity for a reset.”

“This is our chance to accelerate our pre-pandemic efforts to reimagine economic systems…”

That language is both regrettable and deeply concerning.

To refer to a virus that has (directly or indirectly) caused thousands of deaths and wreaked havoc on our economy as “an opportunity” to enact his own “progressive” agenda is in the poorest of taste.

Such a comment gives us insight into Justin Trudeau’s real priorities. For Justin Trudeau, COVID-19 is an opportunity to impose his radical “re-set” agenda.

Mr. Trudeau’s speech seemed a clear indication that Canada was on board with whatever the UN was recommending.

The Liberals spent the summer in “re-set” mode, even borrowing US Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s campaign slogan – Build Back Better. Moving ubiquitous Minister “yes-woman” Chrystia Freeland – author of Plutocrats: The Rise of the New Global Super-Rich and the Fall of Everyone Else – into the Finance portfolio only serves to confirm this intention.

However, despite the signals they sent over the summer, at the last minute the Liberals pulled back, deciding – wisely – that Canadians were in no mood for them to use a public health crisis to fundamentally alter the fabric of our nation.

Justin Trudeau’s consistent willingness to sell out Canadian sovereignty to un-elected UN bureaucrats should be a cause of great concern for all Canadians.

With our economy in tatters, it is almost unfathomable the level of delusion it would take to think that following the UN’s lead into some sort of global eco-socialist utopia is the answer to our economic woes – unless, of course, you’re Justin Trudeau.
