The race season is now well underway and race events have taken us from Italy, to the UK, to Germany, Austria, Belgium, Poland and most recently into Holland. We just finished a busy part of the schedule that saw 4 races in 5 weekends that concluded with an amazing race weekend at the TT Circuit at Assen in front of 100,000 diehard race fans. It was a great experience to compete in front of such a large crowd that loves the sport so much.
Our results this year have been mixed so far but the most important thing is that we’ve been able to bring home a few trophies and continue to learn while competing against such a talented group of drivers.
After this short break in August we will be back at it again in September as our next two races will be at Nurburgring and then at Hockenheim, both in Germany.
I would have to say that the highlight of this year so far would be again racing at The famous circuit of Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. To be able to race on such a prestigious circuit is a real privilege. Plus, being able to explore the historical countryside was also a treat as we were situated right in the hear of where the Battle of the Bulge took place in World War 2.
One other thing I did at Spa was provide a quick behind-the-scenes look of what the inside of my race car looks like…enjoy!
