Adobe Flash is Retiring

For over 20 years, we have enjoyed some amazing online games that work because of the Adobe Flash plugin. As time has progressed and newer, more secure technologies emerge, the need for Flash has become less and less as each year passes by. Because of this, Adobe is planning to end-of-life (EOL) Flash. Specifically, they will stop updating and distributing the Flash Player at the end of 2020.

The official announcement can be read here at adobe.com.

What this means for you, our gaming fans, is that any of the older games that require the Adobe Flash plugin to operate, will cease to work, as all of the browser companies remove the plugin by the end of 2020. Since browser updating usually happens automatically, we expect our selection of Flash games will stop working in your browser early in 2021.

Read more about the various web browsers and how this EOL roll-out for Flash will be implemented on Google Chrome, Mozilla FireFox and Microsoft Edge.
