Community Outreach, a program that reaches out to the desperately poor in our community, is appealing for help from local citizens. Right now, there is a great need for gently used spring jackets, socks and underwear of all sizes – for people who struggle with the basic necessities in life such as food, clothing and shelter. Community Outreach helps these individuals secure the basic needs in life.

Spokesperson Elaine Beckett is urging friends and neighbours in the City of Steinbach and surrounding area to check your closets and donate any jackets or other clothing to this worthy cause.

Any of these items can be dropped off at the Steinbach Credit Union or at the Clearspring Centre during their respective business hours. Donations will be gratefully received at these locations until May 23rd.
