On May 30, 2012, at 8:10am, Oakbank RCMP Detachment along with the Springfield Police Services, Fire and EMS were dispatched to a business fire near Gunn Road and Redunda Street.
The fire has since been extinguished and RCMP report that there has been extensive smoke damage.
Police say that no one was in the business at the time of the fire and no one was hurt.
The investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
