RCMP are investigating the homicide of an adult male that was found deceased at a residence on Black River First Nation earlier this week.

On January 1, 2013, at about 2am, Powerview RCMP Detachment were dispatched to a residence on Black River First Nation. Police say that a, adult male was found deceased at the residence.

RCMP report that the death is being treated as a homicide.

RCMP Powerview Detachment with the assistance of the RCMP Serious Crime Unit, the RCMP Winnipeg Forensic Identification Section are currently investigating.
