Suspended driver caught in traffic stop

A suspended driver was caught during a traffic stop by the Steinbach RCMP this past weekend in the RM of La Broquerie.

At about 2:45 am on January 26, 2013, Steinbach RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Provincial Road 210 in the RM of La Broquerie. Police say that the vehicle was stopped to ensure there was a licensed driver and also to determine if the driver had consumed alcohol. The driver was found to be suspended from driving and the vehicle was found to be unregistered.

RCMP report that the driver was issued 2 traffic tickets in relation to the offence. The vehicle was also seized for 30 days as the driver was suspended.
