Steinbach RCMP respond to local assault
Steinbach RCMP were recently called to a residence in a neighbouring community, west of Steinbach, where a 3rd party reported to police that an intoxicated male assaulted and uttered threats to his common-law wife.
RCMP report that the ensuing investigation led to the arrest of an adult male. The man was escorted to the Steinbach RCMP Detachment where he was lodged due to his level of intoxication and concern for the victim’s safety.
Charges are pending and the investigation continues.
