On April 17, 2015, just after 1pm, Steinbach RCMP responded to a grass fire approximately 1.5km south of Steinbach on Road 32 East.
Police say that approximately 15 homes were evacuated as a precaution, but everyone has since been allowed back home.
RCMP report that the fire was out at approximately 3:30pm.
Police continue to investigate.
