On February 7, 2016, just after 8pm, Dauphin RCMP received a report of an attempted armed robbery that had just occurred at a gas station located on Main Street in Dauphin, Manitoba.

Police say that two males entered the store armed with what appeared to be a firearm, demanding money from the clerk. The clerk was able to flee to an office and lock the door behind, immediately calling 911 once able. The two males then fled the store.

The first suspect is described as being tall and was seen wearing dark clothing. The second suspect is a little shorter, wearing a white hooded winter jacket. Both males had their faces covered.

No one was injured during the incident and no property was taken from the store.
