Two vehicle collision near Thompson

On June 23, 2010 at 11pm, Thompson RCMP and Fire and Emergency Services responded to a two vehicle collision, 7 kilometres south of Thompson on Highway 6.

Investigation determined that two mid-sized cars were involved. The driver of the northbound vehicle crossed the center of the road colliding with the southbound vehicle.

RCMP report that persons involved in the collision did not sustain injury.

The driver of the northbound vehicle, an adult male from Setting Lake, has been charged with driving while over 80 mgs. The accused is scheduled to appear in Thompson Provincial Court on August 27, 2010.

The investigation continues.
