Steinbach man killed in hay baler

On July 8, 2010, at about 9pm, Steinbach RCMP were informed of a man trapped inside a hay baler within the RM of La Broquerie. 

Investigation revealed that the deceased was operating a farm tractor and baler alone in his hay field when he was accidentally pulled into the machine. The man was removed from the baler and transported to the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, Manitoba.

59-year-old Bruce Reimer of Steinbach, Manitoba was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.

The investigation into this tragedy continues.
